The intellectual capital represented by our more than 1,000 investment partners is perhaps our most significant advantage. Our partners and directors represent some of the most respected individuals in such essential professions and industries as economics, mining, manufacturing and energy to name but a few.

Our experience has taught us that sometimes what you own is less important than how much of what you own. In other words: asset allocation.

Since 2000, we have been weighted in cash (treasury bills), secure investments like Real Return Government of Canada Bonds, and tax-efficient limited partnerships, primarily in real estate.

This asset mix coupled with an appropriate amount of international and domestic equity indices, have allowed our partners to enjoy one of the investment industry's finest performances these past few years.
